Next Generation Housing refers to homes for Long Island’s younger people.  In other words, homes that our children can afford.  That doesn’t mean just single-family homes; it also means studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments and condominiums.  It means homes that will keep our younger people on Long Island as they build their careers and set down roots.

Next Generation Housing is not cheap, substandard housing.  It can, however, be housing that is eligible for financial support from the Federal and State governments to keep its sales or rental prices down.
